COAST TO COAST XPRESS INC is located at 285 MAIN ST N, Limehouse, ON L0P 1H0. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Truck driver. We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take their responsibilities at the earliest. The open positions are for Term or contract or Full time job. The LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) has given its approval for the Truck driver position. Employer Name : COAST TO COAST XPRESS INC Position : Truck driver No. of vacancies : 3 Salary : $34.50 to $35.50 hourly (To be negotiated) / 32 to 40 hours per week Employment type : Term or contract, Full time Location : 285 MAIN ST N, Limehouse, ON L0P 1H0 The candidate will be responsible for calculating the cost of truck repairs and current parts as needed. The candidate must plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. The candidate must maintain professionalism in customer service. The candidate must arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations. The candidate must oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect the brakes, tires, lights, cold storage, and other equipment. The candidate must pay for and receive payments for goods. The candidate must perform brake adjustments. The candidate must be able to perform emergency roadside repairs.



The candidate must perform preventive maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch. The candidate must handle and transport dangerous goods. Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language. The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation. Training will be provided to the selected candidate. The candidate must have an AZ class license. Experience and specialization

Documentation knowledge

The candidate must be knowledgeable about accident or incident reports, bill of lading, dangerous goods occurrence reports, driver logbooks, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, trans-border documentation and trip reports. The candidate will be responsible for operating GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigational equipment. The candidate must be familiar with the Trip recorder (on-board computer). Transportation/travel experience

The candidate must have transportation and travel experience at international levels. The candidate must have long-haul travel experience. Additional information

Security and safety

The candidate must have a valid passport. The candidate should undergo a thorough criminal record check, driver’s licence validity check, and driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information

The candidate must be willing to travel across borders. The candidate must be willing to travel overnight.
