Ottawa, ON | Full-Time | Company Vehicle | Paid Travel | $40-50/hr

Licensed Electrician Role

POWERAMP ELECTRIC LTD is a commercial and residential electrical company servicing Eastern Ontario. We are looking to bring on an experienced licensed electrician who’s comfortable working independently and handling a variety of day-to-day service calls.

Duties

- Troubleshooting and repairing a variety of residential and commercial electrical systems
- Responding to service calls in occupied buildings
- Installing and replacing lighting, devices, panels, equipment, and more
- Reading drawings for installations when needed
- Communicating with customers and site contacts in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of job scope and completed work
- Managing your own day-to-day schedule on assigned calls
- Paid travel to job sites in Ottawa and surrounding cities

Working hours vary based on project location and scope.

Requirements

- Ontario 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician licence
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently, assess each situation on site and get the work done efficiently




- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional, reliable and strong communication skills
- Time management skills and ability to manage priorities
- Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations
- Experience in commercial service work is required
