We are a small electrical division within a larger welding and fabrication company in Nisku that maintains the electrical needs of the company itself as well as a small external client base in Edmonton and surrounding area. We are looking for a hard-working, committed, self-driven Journeyman commercial/residential electrician.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, proposed solutions, and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
- Complete service documentation accurately, including work orders, reports and time tracking.
- Read and Interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics for electrical equipment
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, to ensure compliance with codes
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Perform cable pulling and wire installations and terminations
- Perform routine housekeeping duties on site and service truck for cleanup/maintenance
- Keep an accurate account for project assembly hours and materials
- Adhere to company policies, safety procedures,



and provincial electrical regulations.

Qualifications

- Commercial and residential experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract
- AWP experience (Preferred)
- Fall Protection/ Mobile Elevated Work Platform Certificate (Preferred)
- Experience with bending conduit (Preferred)
