Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various residential high end custom home construction projects . Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and technical specifications, contributing to the seamless operation of our projects.

This position offers an exciting chance to work on diverse projects, from renovations to new installations, utilizing your comprehensive electrical knowledge and hands-on skills.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute installations and repairs.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring,
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring, conduit runs, panel setups, and equipment connections.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems during renovation projects or new construction to ensure compliance with safety codes and technical standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.




- Collaborate with other tradespeople during construction or renovation projects to coordinate electrical work seamlessly within larger building systems.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, repair logs, and schematic updates.

Requirements

- Valid Journeyman/Woman Electrician license or certification recognized in your jurisdiction.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar construction environment with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
- A willingness to train for Lutron Homeworks, RadioRa2/3 lighting controls and Lutron automated shades.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, along with power tools like drills and saws safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes applicable to industrial or commercial projects.
- Ability to perform handyman tasks related to electrical repairs or upgrades during renovation projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
