Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various industrial, manufacturing, and construction sites. Your expertise in pipefitting, welding, and mechanical systems will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plumbing and HVAC systems.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems
- Install, modify, and repair piping for HVAC, plumbing, manufacturing, or industrial applications using MIG, TIG welding techniques
- Use hand tools such as calipers, wrenches, pipe cutters, and rigging equipment to complete precise installations
- Conduct routine maintenance on piping systems to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Perform rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy pipes or equipment safely
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues within piping or HVAC systems using basic math and mechanical knowledge
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation and maintenance work

Experience





- Proven experience as a Journeyman/Woman Pipefitter or similar role within manufacturing or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams related to piping systems
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding practices for pipe fabrication and repairs
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing installations, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools efficiently and safely in various work conditions
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data
- Experience with rigging operations for lifting heavy components safely during installation or repairs
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to manufacturing or construction projects is highly desirable
