RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position Summary

Department / Research Program: IDIGH

Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will help support the valleys of death project and the diagnostics workshop.

General Duties

- Help with the literature searches, data extraction, data management, data analysis, etc. of the valleys of death project,
- Assist with interviews, drafting and editing of presentations official communications, manuscripts and reports for the valleys of death project,
- Participate in the organization of the diagnostics workshop, and in interviewing innovators in that space,
- Participate in project meetings (sometimes virtual).

Education / Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study: Health sciences related field

Other education considered an asset for this position: Applied sciences related field

Work Experience: Demonstrated experience in the design/execution of workshops or courses, demonstrated experience in public speaking, experience in conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and scientific communication (spoken and written).

Required Skills

- Knowledge of French is required.
- An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English. The position also requires complex writing or in-depth analysis of documents in English related to a research project.
- Knowledge of other languages are an asset;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision;
- Attention to details and accuracy;
- Knowledge of systematic review and data analysis software/applications (e.g. Covidence or similar, R or Stata);
- This position will require at least one trip abroad (India).





Additional information Status : Temporary Part-Time: 10 to 15 hours per week

Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and work experience.

Work Shift: Other or part-time

Other: Monday to Friday (flexible), day time

Work Site: McGill University campus
