AccountingMD Services Inc. is a contemporary, tech-enabled bookkeeping firm based in Calgary, providing catchup, cleanup, and monthly bookkeeping to small and mid-sized businesses across a range of industries. We're growing, and we're looking for a junior bookkeeper who wants hands-on experience, mentorship from an experienced practitioner, and room to build a career in the profession.

What You'll Do

- Support bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across multiple industries in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Enter, categorize, and reconcile transactions; manage receipts and source documents in Hubdoc and Dext
- Assist with month-end tasks and account reconciliations under supervision
- Learn our workflows and quality standards, with the goal of taking on more independent client work over time
- Communicate professionally with clients as your role grows

What We're Looking For

- Bookkeeping certificate or diploma from a recognized Calgary institution
- 1+ years experience working as a junior bookkeeper or accountant
- Able to work in office (Calgary NW) during the training period




- Exposure to cloud-based accounting software; QuickBooks Online and/or Xero experience is an asset
- Comfort working with video meeting tools (Teams, Zoom)
- Exposure to Good and Services Tax (GST)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
- Strong written and spoken communication and a professional, client-ready manner
