Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable junior carpenter to undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior and exterior of our facility. We will rely on you to keep our facility in excellent condition by doing various odd jobs. You must be well-organized with basic understanding of carpentry and general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.

Duties

- Undertake basic installation or carpentering.
- Responsible for protected and proper use of hand and power tools, ladders, personal safety gear, etc.
- Exterior/interior painting and caulking, light drywall repair.
- Change bulbs, locks/keys.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.




- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing facility-related concerns from staff and visitors promptly.

Qualifications

- Entry level position
- Basic experience with measuring and hardware tools
- Good communication ability, with strong interpersonal skills
- Team player - works well as a member of a group
- Well-organized and apt in problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- A commitment to safety practices within the workplace.

Salary will be based on experience. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
