Buller Crichton Environmental (BCE) is seeking a Junior Environmental Technician to join our team.

This is an excellent chance for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in environmental consulting. At BCE, you won’t be limited to one type of work. You’ll gain hands-on experience across our environmental, building hygiene and occupational hygiene services while working directly with experienced professionals.

What You’ll DoDepending on the project, your work may include:

- Indoor air quality and building hygiene assessments
- Potable water and Legionella sampling programs
- Asbestos and designated substances surveys
- Mould and water-damage assessments
- Asbestos abatement inspections and air monitoring
- Occupational hygiene and exposure monitoring
- Environmental sampling and operation of field equipment
- Field documentation, data collection and technical reporting
- Communicating with clients, contractors and project teams

What We’re Looking ForA university degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health,



Building Science or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with a relevant college diploma in Environmental Technology or a related program will also be considered.

We’re particularly interested in someone who is:

- Reliable, professional and organized
- Curious and eager to learn
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Hands-on and comfortable working in field environments
- A strong communicator with good written skills
- Able to manage changing priorities and a variety of assignments
- In possession of a valid driver’s licence and able to travel to project sites as required

Previous environmental consulting experience is an asset, but we are prepared to teach the right person.
