Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Kitchen Associate to join our team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role focused on food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, moves with urgency, and understands the importance of food quality, consistency, and cleanliness in a high-volume kitchen. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in food service operations. Responsibilities

- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with daily food prep including cutting, portioning, marinating, and stocking ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces
- Monitor food quality and ensure all items meet presentation and safety standards
- Perform routine kitchen maintenance tasks such as filtering and changing fryer oil
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure efficient kitchen flow
- Properly label, store,



and rotate inventory (FIFO method)
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Handle waste, spoilage tracking, and keep waste levels to a minimum
- Follow all health regulations related to sanitation, food safety, and proper storage of ingredients

What We’re Looking For

- Previous kitchen or food service experience is an asset (but not required)
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 10–25 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Attention to detail and pride in keeping a clean workspace
