Safarnama is looking for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Assistant/Helper to join our team. This is a hands-on position, and the successful candidate must be comfortable helping with all day-to-day kitchen duties, including dishwashing and cleaning.

Responsibilities

- Assist cooks/chefs with food preparation and kitchen operations
- Vegetable cutting, ingredient preparation and basic food prep
- Dishwashing and maintaining the dish area
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, surfaces and workstations
- Receiving, organizing and storing food supplies
- Restocking ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards
- Assisting with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Helping wherever required during busy service periods

Requirements:
- Previous restaurant/kitchen experience is required
- Must be comfortable performing dishwashing and cleaning duties




- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Must be available for evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Food Handler Certification is an asset

We are looking for someone who understands that a successful kitchen requires teamwork and is willing to contribute wherever needed. Pay: $16.75 per hour
