Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards to ensure consistent quality.
- Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to guests or service staff, ensuring presentation meets quality expectations.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies, and notifying management of shortages or expired items.
- Follow all food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.




- Support team members during busy periods by providing assistance with meal preparation and service as needed.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant at least 10 years or food service workplace is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations.
- Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly within a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
- Experience in serving or presenting dishes to guests is a plus, emphasizing attention to detail in food presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Familiarity with the use of kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, stoves, and food processors is desirable.
