Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Hand/Cook to help Java branch into the bistro cafe business. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, eager to learn, and dedicated to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen operation. A minimum of one year’s experience is required

Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Support baristas in prepping food for customers (warming and plating or boxing)
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies




- Serve food efficiently to customers or staff while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude
- Help with stock management by receiving deliveries, checking inventory levels, and storing ingredients properly
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone
