Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the food service industry, particularly within a Vietnamese restaurant setting. As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist cooks and chefs in food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.

Duties

- Assist in food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Help cooks with basic cooking tasks as needed, ensuring all food is prepared according to safety standards.
- Support the kitchen staff in stocking supplies and managing inventory.




- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe working workplace.
- Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to prepare the kitchen for the next day’s operations.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a Vietnamese restaurant.
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning from experienced cooks and chefs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
