About the Role:
The Rice Box is looking for a friendly and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Vernon, BC. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and has a passion for great food and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a positive attitude
- Help with kitchen prep work and basic food handling
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Support the kitchen and front-of-house team as needed
Shift Requirements:
- Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Shift Timing: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Must be fluent in English
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask
- Friendly demeanor and strong work ethic
- Previous experience is helpful but not required – training will be provided
Compensation:
- $18.25 per hour
