Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food preparation and cooking meet quality standards
- Manage food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock levels for smooth service flow
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, including interviewing potential team members and conducting performance evaluations
- Implement POS (Point of Sale)
systems such as Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Enforce cash handling procedures accurately during service hours
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health codes and hospitality standards
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within restaurant management or food service environments
- Extensive food industry knowledge with hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving
- Robust background in restaurant or hotel management with leadership skills in team management and customer service
- Experience operating POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Previous roles involving kitchen experience, hospitality operations, or barista experience are highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage cash handling processes accurately while maintaining high standards of service excellence
