Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to cultivate a motivated team.
- Assist with menu and recipe development, including seasonal menu items and specials.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to uphold health standards.




- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and excellent customer experiences.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures for food preparation, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring qualified kitchen personnel to build a skilled team aligned with company values.

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with strong team management skills.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling practices, and health regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
- Prior experience in restaurant or kitchen management roles is preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
