About the Role

Olive Branch is seeking experienced Cooks and Fry Cooks to join our growing prepared foods team. These positions are responsible for producing high-quality fresh meals and prepared foods while maintaining exceptional standards of food safety, cleanliness, consistency, and efficiency.

Successful candidates will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team supporting retail, catering, and e-commerce operations. Whether preparing signature recipes, operating fryers, or assisting with daily food production, team members play a key role in delivering the quality our customers expect.

Qualifications

Required

- Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience.
- Experience as a cook, fry cook, or similar food production role.
- Robust knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred

- Food Handler Certification.
- Experience in grocery retail, catering, deli, or high-volume food production.




- Experience with kosher food preparation is an asset.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and production schedules.
- Operate fryers and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, packaging, and labeling.
- Support catering, retail, and online order production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen setting.
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, receiving, and storage of products.
- Work collaboratively to meet daily production goals and customer demand.
