Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primers using hand tools and power tools.
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings to various surfaces following schematics and blueprints with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Assist with rigging tasks to move materials or equipment safely around job sites.
- Use carpentry skills for minor repairs or modifications needed before painting or restoration work.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.




- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project timelines are met and expectations are exceeded.

Experience

- Prior construction experience is highly preferred, especially in painting or restoration projects.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques across residential, commercial, industrial, and restoration settings.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately for precise application of paint or coatings.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, rigging, and carpentry tasks.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently on fast-paced projects.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing customer service when interacting with clients.
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and the use of schematics to guide work processes.
