To support our continued growth and commitment to excellence, we are now seeking a Labourer.

The Role:

As a Labourer at B.G. Selfloading, you will support daily operations at our logging sites, yard, and shop, handling general labour tasks that keep our crews and equipment moving safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include

- Assisting with general labour and daily operations
- Handling, loading, unloading, stacking, sorting, and moving materials, equipment, and supplies
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas at the project site, yard, and shop
- Assisting with setup, operation, maintenance, and cleanup of tools and equipment
- Performing basic maintenance tasks, such as greasing, cleaning, fueling, and inspections, where trained and authorized
- Checking vehicles and equipment and reporting damage, defects, or safety concerns
- Following all company safety procedures, environmental requirements,



and applicable workplace processes

Key Qualifications: The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and comfort working around heavy equipment.

We're looking for someone who follows direction well, works safely, and functions effectively as part of a crew. You'll need to be reliable and safety-focused for hands-on work.

Additional requirements include

- Class 5 B.C. driver's licence (required)
- Previous experience in logging, forestry, construction, or other physically demanding work (an asset)
- First Aid certification (an asset)
- Chainsaw Operating Ticket (an asset)
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment (an asset)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Position Details: Salary is: $25.00–$30.00 hourly

Typical weekly hours are: 40-50 hours

Availability: Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
