General Labourer – Full-Time

Grayler Metals Corp is currently seeking a motivated, hardworking, and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time General Labourer. As a steel company specializing in metal fabrication, painting, and fulfilling customer orders, our team relies on a General Labourer to provide hands-on support across all areas of our operations.

This is an active, hands-on position for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in doing a job well, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed. The successful candidate will assist with pulling, preparing, loading, and moving customer orders, handling materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and supporting our fabrication and painting operations as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Pull, prepare, load, and organize customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Safely move, load, and unload steel and other materials
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes when qualified
- Assist with general shop, fabrication, painting, and material-handling duties as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure shop and warehouse environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and properly inspect equipment before use
- Assist team members across different areas of the operation as needed
- Perform physical labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs safely
- Support inventory handling and order preparation
- Work independently when required while contributing positively to a team environment
- Take initiative and help wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly

The Successful Candidate Will Have

- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and independently
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or steel industry experience is preferred but not required
- Previous experience operating a forklift and/or overhead crane is an asset
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good time management skills
- Basic math skills for counting materials and processing orders
- Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to workplace safety

Forklift and overhead crane experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is motivated to learn, works hard, shows up reliably, and is ready to be an important part of a hardworking team.
