Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking to add CONSTRUCTION LABOURERS to our utility crew who are looking to establish a career in the road construction industry.

These are seasonal positions that offer a competitive wage with benefits.

The primary duties for general labour could include but are not limited to:

- Digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, operating small compaction gear (jumping jacks, tampers, etc.), using a concrete chop saw, and other labour activities associated with constructing the required project
- Placement of construction materials (by hand or use of equipment)
- Setup, check, and compact granular base materials to meet construction specifications required for the project
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves, as required

Pay Scale $23 - $26 Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and high-pressure environment. They will also have a strong drive to contribute to the team's success by working with operators and other crew members to perform a wide range of duties. Successful candidates will also be able to maintain a safety-minded and high accountability work culture while working with their direct supervisors, and other employees while maintaining a positive and respectful work workplace.
