We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. This is a part-time position.
Excellent for a semi retired individual or someone looking to earn extra money as a 2nd job.
Duties
- Working with pavers and concrete blocks
- Work with shovel and wheelbarrow
- Drain pipe and retaining wall construction
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks
- Fence installation
- Grading, leveling, raking, sweeping trimming, and edging
- Operate and maintain power tools and equipment for landscaping projects
- Dig trenches and install irrigation systems
- Use hand tools to prune trees, shrubs, and hedges
- Assist with garden bed preparation and planting
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines
Skills
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools
- Proficiency in using hand tools
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Backhoe, skid steer and excavator experience is an asset
- Clean drivers license is an asset
