We are seeking a dedicated and skilled labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and installation. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. The labourer will collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform landscape installations, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute landscape designs accurately.
- Perform maintenance tasks in the winter season
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching.
- Engage in construction painting for outdoor fixtures as required.
- Support electrical work related to landscape lighting installations.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with fencing and deck construction.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Experience using hand tools and power equipment safely.
- Knowledge of hardscape installation is a plus
- Background in carpentry or construction is advantageous.
