We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the creation and maintenance of beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in various landscaping projects, requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for horticulture and construction. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and capable of performing a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance and construction.
Duties
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting, grading, and soil preparation
- Operate machinery such as excavators and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting
- Perform gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, and lawn care
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment for landscape maintenance and construction projects
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Support team members in large-scale construction or renovation projects within outdoor environments
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized throughout each project phase
Experience
- Prior experience with landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance practices is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and hand tools is beneficial
- Experience in construction or outdoor maintenance work will help in adapting quickly to job responsibilities
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions with attention to safety standards
