Job Summary

Duties

- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas pristine and inviting
- Operate machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for landscaping projects or site improvements
- Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and healthy plant growth
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, aerating, and other landscape tasks with precision and care
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues such as pests, disease, or damage, and implement appropriate solutions




- Assist with construction projects related to landscape enhancements or new installations by supporting excavation or site preparation activities
- Follow safety protocols consistently while handling mechanical equipment and tools to ensure a secure work environment

Experience

- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred; familiarity with horticulture practices is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery like excavators or irrigation systems is advantageous
- Construction experience or hands-on work with landscaping projects will support success in this role
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety standards
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance best practices including pruning, fertilizing, pest control, and soil management
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
