Duties

- · Mow, trim, edge, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize, and water lawns.
- · Weed garden beds, prune shrubs and small trees, and maintain planted areas.
- · Spread topsoil, mulch, gravel, and other landscaping materials as directed.
- · Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees as part of regular maintenance or enhancement work.
- · Operate and maintain common landscape maintenance equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, pruning tools, and hand tools.
- · Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, plants, soil, and materials.
- · Clean up debris and maintain safe, tidy outdoor work areas.




- · Follow instructions from supervisors and work cooperatively with crew members to complete jobs efficiently.
- · Perform seasonal duties as required, which may include fall cleanups or snow removal depending on company operations.

Skills

- · Previous landscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance, or general landscape labourer experience.
- · Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- · Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- · Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
- · Robust work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
- · Ability to safely use hand tools and powered landscaping equipment.
- · Valid driver’s licence is required.
