Duties

- Perform landscape installation and maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mowing, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for grading, digging, or site preparation projects
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering and plant health
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks like edging, trimming, and soil preparation
- Conduct landscape construction activities such as building retaining walls, pathways, or garden beds using appropriate materials
- Maintain existing landscapes by performing routine inspections, pest control, fertilization,



and seasonal cleanups
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment or tools to ensure smooth project execution

Skills

- Proficiency with excavators and other heavy machinery used in landscaping projects
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance techniques
- Experience in gardening practices, plant care, and horticulture principles
- Solid understanding of landscape maintenance routines to promote healthy growth and aesthetics
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and repair of landscaping equipment and tools
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers)
- Construction experience involving site preparation, grading, or hardscape installation is highly desirable
