Silver Pine Landscaping is currently hiring a landscaping labourer for year round commercial/residential property maintenance, to start as soon as possible.

A clean driving record and G license are mandatory. Our yard is located at Hwy 11 and Bathurst in Newmarket. Wage is dependent on experience and skill. Promotion to supervisor with benefits is a future possibility.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Attention to detail and a good work ethic
- Experience driving trucks and using landscaping machinery

Summer duties (April 1 to October 31):

- Trimming
- Pruning
- Mowing (push mower, zero-turn is an asset)
- Maintaining gardens
- Landscaping
- Hours are Monday to Friday starting at 7 am and ending between 2-5 pm.

Winter duties (November 1 to March 31):

- Shoveling snow and hand salting, snowblowing
- Immediately reporting any issues/incidents to the owner
- Experience with plowing and operating a salter is an asset for future promotion
- Paid 75 hours of salary per paycheque, only working whenever there is snow and on-call when the weather is explicit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
