Role Description The Lead Dispatcher is a full-time, in office role based in Georgetown, ON, responsible for coordinating daily transportation activities across Kuthala Group’s fleet. This position schedules and dispatches drivers and equipment, assigns routes, and monitors load status to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

The Lead

Dispatcher communicates with drivers, customers, and internal teams, resolving issues, updating timelines, and maintaining accurate records in dispatch and tracking systems. The role includes overseeing dispatch workflows,



prioritizing urgent or time-sensitive loads, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies.

Dispatcher also analyzes route efficiency, supports continuous process improvements, and assists in training and guiding dispatch team members.

Qualifications

- Experience in dispatching or transportation coordination, preferably in trucking or logistics operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple routes, drivers, and priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with dispatch, fleet management, or transportation management software and basic MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and best practices in North American trucking.
- Problem-solving skills and sound judgment to respond to delays, breakdowns, and changing customer needs.
- Ability to work on-site in Georgetown, ON, in a fast-paced environment and occasionally extended or flexible hours.
- Previous leadership or team coordination experience in dispatch or operations is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Kuthala Group’s service areas (transport, equipment, storage, and fleet solutions) considered beneficial.
