Job Title: Permanent Literacy Lead (0.2 FTE) – Competition #

Start Date: August 31, 2026 | Location: TBD | Salary: $58,977 - $119,939 (per OECTA Collective Agreement)

Position Description

The role requires a strong understanding and implementation of the following Ministry documents:

- Learning for All
- Indigenous, Metis, Inuit Framework
- Growing Success (Assessment)
- Ontario Language Curriculum

Position Qualifications

- Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers – Primary/Junior/Intermediate Qualifications
- AQ – Reading Specialist – Early Years Focus
- AQ – Special Education Part 1
- 3-5 years of teaching, leadership and academic coaching experience
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Assistive Technology & Google Apps for Education

Required Documents

- Cover letter and resume highlighting qualifications and experience
- Copy of Ontario College of Teachers – Certification of Qualification
- Most recent LTO evaluation or most recent appraisal (if available)




- At least three references, including the most recent reference and email addresses

Additional Requirements

- Successful completion of all Safety training courses
- Successful vulnerable sector check
- Extensive travel throughout the Board and provincially
