Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technicians and pool repair technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are safe, clean, and functioning optimally. This role requires a strong understanding of pool systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks. Candidates with experience in landscaping, horticulture, customer service or construction-related fields are encouraged to apply, as these skills complement the responsibilities of this position.
The Pool
Technician plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing to ensure optimal water quality
- Open and close pools
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
- Conduct repairs or replacements of pool components using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain and repair related landscape features including irrigation systems and garden areas around pools
- Operate excavation equipment such as excavators when necessary for pool repairs or installations
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to pool installations or upgrades
- Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, gardening, and horticulture work around pool areas
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Requirements
- Prior experience with pools, mechanical systems, maintenance, or construction is preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment and general maintenance practices
- Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is advantageous but not mandatory
- Robust attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
