About the Role

Legacy Youth Sports Club Camp is looking for a passionate and dedicated Youth Soccer Coach ( Age 21 plus ) to lead our co-ed "Learn to Play" program for children aged 5 to 12.

This is more than just coaching; it's about igniting a lifelong love for the game! We seek an individual who can create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, learns fundamental skills, and develops important life lessons.

Key Responsibilities

- Coaching & Instruction: Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate drills and games focused on basic soccer fundamentals (dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork).
- Creating a Fun Environment: Ensure practices and games are enjoyable, sparking a genuine joy and enthusiasm for soccer in young players.
- Child Development: Comfortably guide and manage groups of young children (ages 5-12) with varying skill levels.
- Teaching Leadership: Incorporate activities and lessons that subtly teach leadership, good sportsmanship, respect, and communication.
- Safety & Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during all activities.
- Communication: Maintain open, clear, and positive communication with players, parents,



and club management.

Qualifications & Requirements (Ages 20+)
- Patience and Empathy: Must possess excellent patience, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working with young children.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication skills, able to speak clearly and positively to both children and adults.
- Must have Soccer Coachong Experience Solid understanding of basic soccer techniques and rules. Prior coaching experience is a significant asset, but a passion for teaching is essential.
- Background Check: Must be willing to complete a background check and provide references.
- Certification: Valid First Aid/CPR Certification asset
