This position is indefinite and may become permanent under the City of Brandon's job agreements. Your duties will involve cleaning, operating machinery for snow removal, and reporting any repair necessities. You will play a critical role in ensuring protected and clean transit environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough cleaning of transit facilities and equipment
• Use snow removal machines to clear bus stop areas
• Manage maintenance of grass and other landscaping
• Report needs for repairs and cleaning supplies
• Maintain equipment by performing necessary fueling
Requirements:
• Must hold a Class 5 driver's license (Manitoba)
• Practical experience in facility maintenance preferred
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
• Flexibility for shift work, including weekends
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
