Based out of Halifax or New Glasgow, NS, the Senior Delivery Lead plays a pivotal role in the EPMO & Technology team, a hands‑on delivery expert, with a strong agile delivery background and the ability to train and coach leveraging Crombie’s EPMO Frameworks.
This role is responsible for guiding cross‑functional project teams through adaptive, value-driven delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration across the organization.
The Senior Delivery
Lead demonstrates expertise in Agile and Scrum frameworks, a proven ability to coach and influence at multiple organizational levels,
and a passion for enabling high‑performing teams. They also have experience in other delivery methodologies based in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and have a strong understanding of change management and quality assurance. This role shapes the Agile practice from the ground up within a growing EPMO function and help mature the delivery within the EPMO.
Additional duties of the Business Support Analyst include but are not limited to: Agile Delivery Facilitation Serves as Scrum Master for one or more enterprise project teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Removes impediments, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks to protect sprint commitments and delivery timelines. Maintains and optimizes team backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners and business stakeholders, ensuring items are well‑defined, prioritized, and delivery‑ready.
Tracks and communicates sprint velocity, burndown, and other delivery metrics to provide transparency on team progress and capacity. Facilitates cross‑team coordination and alignment where projects span multiple workstreams or functional areas. Coaching & Capability Building Coaches team members, project managers, and business stakeholders in Agile principles, mindset, and practices — meeting people where they are on their Agile journey.
Designs and delivers workshops, training sessions, and lunch‑and‑learns to build Agile literacy and fluency across the EPMO and broader organization. Partners with the Senior Director, EPMO & Technology to define and evolve the organization’s Agile delivery framework, tailoring practices to Crombie’s culture and operating context.
Be flexible in delivery mindset and be able to tailor delivery according to the Crombie EPMO Frameworks.
Continuous
Improvement & Organizational Change Identifies and implements process improvements that enhance delivery quality, cycle time, and team satisfaction. Contributes to the continuous improvement of EPMO standards, templates, and best practices for Agile delivery. Builds strong relationships across IT, Finance, Operations, and Development teams to foster a collaborative, cross‑functional delivery culture.
Supports change management efforts associated with new tools, processes, and ways of working. Establishes and maintains Agile delivery metrics and dashboards that provide actionable insight to leadership. Supports portfolio‑level reporting by providing accurate sprint and release‑level status updates to the EPMO.
Ensures
Agile practices align with and complement existing enterprise governance and project management frameworks. 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with at least 2 years in a Senior Scrum Master or Agile Coach capacity.
Certified Scrum
Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM II), or equivalent Agile certification. Demonstrated experience coaching teams and building strong delivery within a team and an organization. Demonstrated experience in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other scaled Agile frameworks.
Experience working in technology project delivery environments involving ERP, CRM, or enterprise platform implementations.
Experience working in non‑technical business projects with process or finance components. Proficiency with Agile tooling (e.g., The Following Are Considered Assets ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP‑ACC), SAFe Agilist (SA), or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification. Familiarity with Yardi, SAP,JDE, MRI or similar platforms common in real estate operations.
