Job Summary The Lease Renewal Manager is responsible for maximizing lease-end customer retention and generating profitable renewals by proactively contacting lessees, managing renewal workflow, coordinating with sales/finance teams, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role drives renewal conversions, supports dealership sales objectives, and maintains accurate tracking of all lease renewal activity.

Key Responsibilities

- Proactively manage lease renewal pipeline for assigned cohorts (e.g., 30/60/90-day windows).

- Contact and engage customers to discuss lease-end options (renewal, purchase, new lease, trade-in).

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely follow-up and explicit communication.

- Coordinate renewal offers and vehicle availability with sales and inventory teams.

- Work closely with Finance to ensure lease/finance structures are reviewed and properly documented.

- Maintain accurate records in the CRM/desk system (notes, outcomes, next steps, appointment status).

- Schedule and facilitate customer appointments for renewal consultations.

- Monitor renewal conversion metrics and adjust outreach strategy to meet targets.





- Assist with marketing and communication efforts (mailers, calls, texting campaigns) as directed.

- Provide feedback on process improvements, common customer objections, and competitive dynamics.

- Maintain compliance with all dealership policies and applicable laws/regulations.

Qualifications / Requirements

- Prior experience in automotive sales, leasing, customer retention, or renewals (preferred).

- Strong phone skills and comfort driving customer conversations to resolution.

- Working knowledge of automotive lease concepts, renewal options, and basic deal structure (preferred).

- Professional appearance and high personal standards.

- Ability to manage time, follow-up consistently, and meet weekly/quarterly goals.

- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.

- Valid driver’s license (

Preferred Skills

- Proven track record of retention, renewals, or BDC/appointment conversion.

- Familiarity with customer experience best practices.

- Comfort using call scripts and customizing conversations based on customer needs.
