In this pivotal role, you will perform essential utility operations, ensuring the safe and productive functionality of water supply systems. Collaborating with the Utilities Manager, you will engage in maintenance, repair, and construction activities, all while fostering positive relationships to communicate effectively with both staff and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain water supply and distribution systems
• Conduct repairs on pressure release and regulation systems
• Oversee fire hydrants and treatment facility operations




• Collaborate on projects with different District departments
• Maintain reservoirs and intake structures efficiently
Requirements:
• One year towards a water engineering technology diploma
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Eligibility for EOCP certification in water operation
• Chlorine Handlers Certificate or in process of obtaining
• British Columbia Driver's License required
