Reporting to the Facilities and Environmental Services Manager, the Housekeeping Aide will maintain high hygiene standards while ensuring resident privacy and satisfaction. Key responsibilities include environmental cleaning, adhering to infection control protocols, and preparing rooms for new occupants. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the living conditions for the residents at the Meighen Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean resident rooms and common areas meticulously
• Use specified sanitizing products for infection control




• Prepare rooms for incoming residents efficiently
• Participate in in-service programs and training
• Notify supervisor about low supplies or malfunctions
Requirements:
• Minimum grade 12 or high school education
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Knowledge of infection control practices
