Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments, with precision and professionalism. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to uphold the highest standards of infection control. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout visits. Manage patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic, maintaining accurate and confidential documentation. Support front desk operations by coordinating appointments and communicating effectively with patients and team members.
Stay current with industry best practices in dental assisting, pediatrics,
orthodontics, and medical terminology to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Dental Assistant in accordance with state regulations is required. Prior experience with dental software platforms like Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable. Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry enhances communication within the team.
Experience working as a dental receptionist or in patient scheduling improves overall efficiency. Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools used for dental restorations is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills combined with attention to detail ensure positive patient experiences. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
