Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will support dentists in delivering outstanding patient care, assist with various dental procedures, and ensure a smooth clinical workflow. Your expertise will help create a welcoming workplace where patients feel comfortable and cared for from start to finish.

Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment
- Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including diagnostic and restorative treatments
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
- Manage patient records using dental software, ensuring all information is current and confidential




- Provide patient education on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions

Skills

- Valid licensure as a Dental Assistant with current certification
- Proficiency in dental software platforms. We use Power practice but any knowledge is an asset for record management
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
- Strong understanding of dental/medical terminology relevant to dental practice
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
