Lighting Technician – Prince George

About the Role

Lumisave is looking for a Lighting Technician to join our Prince George facility. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll support the manufacture, testing, and repair of the industrial lighting fixtures we build for the mining, pulp and paper, and oil sectors. Training will be provided.

Founded in 2009, we design rugged fixtures built to withstand the extreme temperatures and harsh conditions of mining, pulp and paper, and oil refinery sites, helping customers save energy, cut costs, improve safety, and upgrade light quality.

The Role

You'll be responsible for building, testing, and repairing all products in our portfolio. We offer a competitive salary, extended health and dental coverage, vacation time, and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Performing fixture modifications to ensure lighting meets certification and quality control standards
- Ensuring proper labeling and packaging of light fixtures
- Keeping a clean, secure area for labels, product manuals, and warranty documentation




- Maintaining manufacturing and quality control records
- Handling warranty claims, replacements, and repairs
- Maintaining an organized warehouse for lights, parts, and tools
- Performing monthly physical inventory counts
- Tracking inventory changes and retaining shipping records
- Keeping accurate records/signatures for any inventory removed from the warehouse for display, loan, or other purposes
- Operating a forklift
- Light troubleshooting and repair
- Other duties as requested by Lumisave management

Qualifications The ideal candidate has:

- Experience using tools
- Robust communication skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs+
