Join the Opening Team at Farooj Abo Alabed

Farooj Abo Alabed is opening a new location in London, Ontario, and we're hiring Kitchen Team Members to join our opening team.

We're looking for both experienced Line Cooks and Kitchen Helpers who are eager to learn.

Your responsibilities and starting position will be based on your experience, skills, and training.

What You'll Do

- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently during service
- Assist cooks with food preparation
- Wash, peel, cut, portion, and prepare ingredients
- Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
- Keep your station and work areas clean and organized
- Stock ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Properly store and rotate food products
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as required
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Keep kitchen equipment and preparation areas clean
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support other team members when needed

For Experienced Line Cooks If you have previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience, you may be responsible for:
- Running an assigned station during service
- Preparing and cooking menu items to established standards
- Maintaining speed and consistency during high-volume periods
- Monitoring ingredient levels at your station




- Assisting with training newer kitchen team members
- Maintaining food quality, portion control, and presentation

Previous experience as a Line Cook, Cook, Prep Cook, or similar restaurant position is an asset.

For Kitchen Helpers

- Food preparation
- Ingredient preparation and stocking
- Cleaning and sanitation
- Dishwashing
- Kitchen organization
- Delivery and storage support
- Basic kitchen tasks as you become trained

Previous restaurant experience is not required for Kitchen Helper applicants. Training will be provided.
