Summary

We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at The Thirsty Rhino. In this role, you will be essential in preparing high-quality meals and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. Your contributions will directly impact our guests' satisfaction and the overall success of our pub.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking meals according to menu specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.




- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of food supplies.
- Support the head cook in menu planning and meal preparation.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
