Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items with precision and efficiency
- Cook dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure a safe, sanitary kitchen environment
- Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Support the team during busy service hours by executing orders swiftly and accurately
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of meals
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary fundamentals
- Prior experience with serving or working in a fast-paced kitchen workplace is highly desirable
