Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety to showcase their skills and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Candidates should have prior restaurant or kitchen experience, along with a solid understanding of food handling and meal preparation standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management




- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination or spoilage
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is a plus
- Solid understanding of the food industry trends and customer service expectations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
