Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Store Clerk to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in basic technology, and have a passion for retail sales.

Bilingual abilities and experience with product demos or merchandising are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a dynamic retail setting.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers
- Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer experience
- Maintain organized shelves and ensure proper merchandising of products
- Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Process returns, exchanges, and handle cashiering duties efficiently
- Assist in opening and closing the store




- Support promotional activities and sales campaigns to boost store performance

Requirements

- Strong communication skills; bilingual (English and another language) is preferred
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
- Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in merchandising or technical sales is a plus

Pay: $18.25-$24.00 per hour
