We are seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join a well-established and client-focused litigation practice in Sudbury. The successful candidate will handle a diverse range of civil and commercial litigation matters, with opportunities for meaningful advocacy, file responsibility, and professional growth. Responsibilities

- Represent clients in civil, commercial, and other litigation matters.

- Manage litigation files and develop effective case strategies.

- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.

- Conduct legal research and prepare matters for hearings and trial.

- Manage discovery processes, including examinations and document production.

- Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations.

- Provide practical and strategic legal advice to clients.





- Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.

- Collaborate with lawyers and legal professionals on complex matters.

- Manage multiple files, deadlines, and competing priorities effectively.

Qualifications

- J.D. or equivalent legal education.

- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

- 3+ years of litigation experience preferred.

- Strong civil and/or commercial litigation experience.

- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to independently manage files and meet deadlines.

- Strong client-service and communication skills.

- Commitment to professional excellence and cooperative teamwork.
