Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to deliver products to various locations.
- Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky goods.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled timelines while optimizing fuel and time resources.
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, receipts, and delivery confirmations.




- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules, ensuring seamless logistics flow.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, or delivery roles is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL license is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes.
- Proficiency with forklift operation is desirable; certification is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Experience working in quick-paced environments requiring moving goods quickly and accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for route planning and documentation.
