KPU invites applications from Indigenous designers including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit to contribute to the Wilson School of Design. The residency supports cutting-edge design ventures and community building through events and workshops. Ideal candidates will have a strong connection to Indigenous traditions and relevant professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Host various events including designer talks and critiques • Deliver guest lectures and facilitate workshops at KPU • Collaborate with students and diverse designers • Engage in WSD community events and activities • Maintain regular communication with leadership
Requirements: • Community-based experience in Indigenous design • Proven track record in your design field • Active engagement in design-related events • Strong interpersonal skills for community connection • Capable of planning collaborative events
