Vortio is an Ontario-based web design and digital growth studio looking for a friendly, outgoing local person to help us connect with small businesses in Minden and Haliburton region .
This is a very adaptable role, approximately 4–6 hours per month, ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, starting conversations, and being out in the local community.
What you'll do
- Visit selected local businesses in person
- Introduce Vortio and our website services
- Leave a flyer/card and briefly explain our offer
- Identify interested business owners for our team to follow up with
- Keep a simple record of businesses visited
Who we're looking for
Someone who is
- Naturally outgoing and confident speaking with new people
- Friendly, professional, and approachable
- Familiar with the local community
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Interested in networking, business, marketing, or sales
No technical website knowledge is required. We provide everything you need and handle all follow-up sales conversations.
Compensation
$25–$30/hour
+ $100 commission for every business you introduce that becomes a Vortio client
Approximately 4–6 flexible hours per month, with potential for additional opportunities as we grow locally.
Great fit for a student, part-time worker, semi-retired professional, or anyone looking for flexible extra income while meeting local business owners.
